Intermountain Cleaning Service is actively hiring professional commercial janitors for evening building maintenance shifts.

About This Position

A commercial janitor at Intermountain Cleaning Service plays a direct role in keeping client facilities clean, safe, and presentable. From office towers to medical offices and retail spaces, this role covers a wide range of commercial environments, each with its own cleanliness standards and daily requirements.

Most shifts run in the evenings to avoid disrupting normal business operations. If you take pride in detailed, methodical work and want a stable role with clear responsibilities, this position may be a strong fit.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Day-to-day tasks span the full scope of commercial facility maintenance:

Floor Care

Floor cleaning involves sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming across hard surfaces and carpeted areas throughout the facility.

Restroom Sanitation

Deep cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking all restroom supplies to meet commercial hygiene standards.

Surface Cleaning

Dusting and polishing furniture, cleaning windows, glass partitions, mirrors, and other surface areas.

Waste Removal

Emptying trash and recycling bins, sanitizing waste receptacles, and disposing of materials properly.

Safety & Security

Locking up after shifts, setting alarms, and handling all cleaning chemicals according to safety protocols.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

We welcome applicants from a variety of backgrounds. Here's what we look for in a strong candidate:

Physical Stamina

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift 50+ lbs, bend, and navigate stairs or ladders as needed.

Experience

Previous cleaning experience is preferred. Applicants without prior experience are still encouraged to apply.

Chemical Knowledge

Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety handling. Attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Background & Licensing

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and hold a valid driver's license.

What to Expect Working With Intermountain Cleaning Service
